Pat McEntee
Pat McEntee is an international
venture advisor and investor who delivers investor search
services and mentoring for ventures from formation to exit
stage. He has nurtured and invested in dozens of ventures for
twenty years. Pat is an active Board Member several
investments and an advisor to several philanthropic causes. As
about half of the Auxo portfolio has originated outside
America, Pat has a long track record working with
entrepreneurs of diversity including women. He often takes an
active role in mentoring CEOs and their early stage
investments. He has a long track record in guiding
international venture expansion. Pat leads a global practice
in acquiring investor board members. McEntee has international
access to equity and debt capital including venture fund,
venture banking, micro fund, angel, institutional and
individual resources of all styles and investment approaches.
McEntee has broad knowledge of high
technology and consumer domains: eCommerce, Internet,
wireless, communications, applications and systems software,
media, and search. Previously McEntee was a serial
entrepreneur with several successful ventures in high
technology and consumer services and has achieved attractive
exits. Pat was a key executive with IBM, Oracle, SGI, and
ABC/Disney. He has served as a leader, investor, and advisor
in over thirty organizations that have made key contributions
to communications, content & media, the Internet, eCommerce,
and mobility.
Mr. McEntee earned his BA in History
from Yale College, was an exchange student at Lincoln College,
Oxford University, and completed graduate executive programs
at M.I.T. Media Laboratory, M.I.T. Sloan School, and IBM
Systems Research Institute. Mr. McEntee is an active member of
the California Youth Soccer Association, an advisor and coach
in the Pacific Soccer Academy. Pat and his family reside in
the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Examples of her digital marketing
experience include Netflix. There, she oversaw the "Love of
Movies" brand as both a marketing executive and producer.
Sarah drove brand awareness by leveraging Netflix-produced
film festival segments on CNN, MSNBC, NBC, BBC, NPR and
thirty-six additional affiliates, fifteen of which were the
top DMA's in the country. To this end, she also drove the
creation of an Index that tracked movie rental behavior that
was used for the Netflix site, marketing content and
communications. Her team integrated television, web consumer
behavior, and studio partnerships to drive the brand towards
consumer and industry awareness. She managed all studio
publicity partnerships and collaborated with the LA Netflix
content division.
Sarah is also a leading expert in the
genre of Art and Technology. Her Board affiliations include
CalArts: Center for Integrated Media, Los Angeles, California
- ZeroOne: Art and Technology Network, San Jose, California-
Vanguard Visions: Stockholm, Sweden.
Sarah holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence
College and has had additional training at Columbia
University, Burson-Marsteller University, Harvard University
and The Royal Court Theater, London, England. She lives
with her family in the Bay Area. She is dual citizen between
the United States and Italy.
